Catholic Youth Organization Sports
Assumption Church and School have an active CYO program which provides several sports to the children in the parish and community. The program offers team sports in the fall, winter and spring for both girls and boys in grades K-8. Our goal is to provide a fun and encouraging experience so the youth in our community build athletic skills, stay healthy and form lasting relationships.
The Assumption CYO program is a ministry of the Church of the Assumption that models Christ's teachings in the athletic and spiritual development of youth in our parish. Through sports, we foster faith, fellowship, character, and teamwork in a supportive, inclusive community where athletes can grow and thrive.
Prior to enrolling please be aware that you need to either live within the parish boundary, attend Faith Formation classes, or attend Assumption School.
Assumption CYO is now its own expanded group of parents and parishioners committed to growing and improving our CYO sports program. We just need to fill one vitally important role, Treasurer! So if you have a passion for youth sports and know how to balance a checkbook, please contact [email protected]. You too can join this dynamic group while fulfilling your school volunteer hours.
CYO 2025 Spring Sports Registration is Open!
CYO Registration is open from January 3rd to 17th, 2025. Sign up via the Team Snap link below. Assumption Trojans are excited to kick off another season of Spring sports. We offer Track & Field for boys and girls in grades K-8, Boys Sand Volleyball for grades 5th-8th, and Girls Basketball for grades 2nd-8th.
Please register your athlete for the grade they are actually in for this school year. Teams will be adjusted at the close of registration to determine which athletes will play up, if necessary.
The practice and game schedule will be determined after registration closes and will be announced by your Athletic Directors.
